Roger Multimedia Hub

The Roger Multimedia Hub takes audio from a computer source (or that of a digital device) and streams it to one of the following devices:

  • A Roger Touchscreen Mic*

  • A Roger Passaround Mic*

  • A Roger Soundfield*

  • A Roger receiver (on a hearing aid or CI)

  • A Roger Direct Hearing Device

  • A Roger Wallpilot

In the situations where it is paired with another Roger device with a microphone (identified with a *) the audio source will be mixed at a 50:50 ration with the microphone audio.

In situations where it is directly paired with a receiver only the audio from the Multimedia Hub will be streamed to the hearing device.

The Advantages

The Multimedia Hub does not require the student to plug and unplug the Roger Mic from the audio source throughout the lesson to switch back and forth between the microphone and audio source.

In addition the Multimedia Hub can be used attached to a computer in the classroom to consume media while the teacher can continue to wear the Roger Microphone in the classroom to gain the students attention, and to deliver instructions*.

It's discouraged to talk at the same time as the media source, but to gain the students attention.

* Only 1 Multimedia Hub can be paired per Roger device
