Announcements

A committee of the Global Church of the Brethren Communion has developed a survey of essential characteristics for a church to be considered Church of the Brethren. The committee is asking all interested Church of the Brethren members to respond. The survey is available in English, Spanish, Haitian Kreyol, and Portuguese. The Deacons are working to update the Prayer Chain. If you would like to be added, removed, etc, please let Ron Long know.

1 Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer. 2 How long will you people turn my glory into shame? How long will you have delusions and seek false gods? 3 Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. 4 Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. 5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the Lord. 6 Many, Lord, are asking, "Who will bring us prosperity?" Last week, the question was, "What is your testimony?" This week, the challenge is to share that testimony. Something simple like sharing a kind word communicates to others that our lives have been changed by Christ, but how long has it been since you've shared your testimony with a neighbor or coworker...? invited someone to a church activity...? volunteered for service within the body of Christ...?
