Our food pantry is in desperate need of replenishing. They are specifically requesting Peanut Butter, Beans, Canned Chicken, Canned Vegetables, and Canned Fruit. Click this link to check out the list of food items from last year's Reverse Advent Calendar if you would like additional ideas. The next food distribution is December 19th.
The Christian Education team has purchased an Advent Calendar and magnetic Advent Wreath (like the one used in the Advent video to the left) for members. Those attending church should have received theirs from Rita Furr. Ones for those unable to attend church right now were mailed November 27th. The Christian Education Team hopes you enjoy this small way to unify our Advent celebration despite being socially distant this year.

A Harvest of Joy
A Song of Ascents
1 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them." 3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we rejoiced. 4 Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like the watercourses in the Negeb. 5 May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, carrying their sheaves.
