The IVM-VR lab is a dedicated virtual reality (VR) lab to facilitate technologically-advanced and interdisciplinary student-learning. The Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), provides full intelligence support for this lab.

Our main goal is to innovate climate education in higher educational institutions. To achieve this goal, we design, experiment, and implement immersive VR simulations in different climate and environmental teaching modules. Beyond the boundary of our own educational programs, we intend to provide support for students, teachers, and researchers to codesign and revolutionise climate pedagogy.
