International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumni will participate in an interactive 4-week long invite-ONLY program titled Strategies for Climate Action, which will take place from April 19 to May 4.

Collaborate with past IVLP colleagues and meet new ones, as you begin to build an informal framework, grown from your previous IVLP experiences, your dedication, and your contributions at home, towards a path forward for global action. Workshops and discussions will bring together global, academic, nonprofit, and government leaders to deliberate and advance Strategies for Climate Action by merging disciplines and centering on evidence-based decisions guided by the best available science and data.

These virtual events are held in recognition of "Earth Week," which will also bring thousands of groups and millions of voices together for three separate parallel climate action summits, ahead of the Biden Administration’s global leaders’ climate summit. The parallel summits are focused respectively on climate literacy, environmental justice, and a broad range of youth-led climate-focused issues.
