IVIDEO is an offline video compression app published by [INSERT PUBLISHER NAME] ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how IVIDEO handles information when you use the app.
## Videos and files
IVIDEO processes only the videos you choose with Android's system file picker. Video compression happens locally on your device. IVIDEO does not upload your selected videos, subtitles, or finished videos to our servers.
Finished videos are saved to the `Movies/IVIDEO` folder on your device. The app stores a local history of its finished video entries so you can play, share, or delete them. This local history stays on your device.
## Advertising
IVIDEO uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to show banner, native, app-open, rewarded, and rewarded-interstitial ads. Google and its advertising partners may collect and process information such as IP address, advertising identifiers, device or account identifiers, product interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This information is handled under Google's policies. Google Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit.
Where a privacy message is required, IVIDEO uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent before requesting ads. A Privacy choices button is shown in the app only when applicable choices must be available.

## Permissions
- Notifications are requested so IVIDEO can show compression progress while it is working in the background.
- Foreground service permissions are used only while a local video is being compressed, including when the screen is off or another app is open.
- On Android 9 and older, storage permission is requested only when required to save output videos in `Movies/IVIDEO`.
- On modern Android versions, IVIDEO uses the system file picker rather than requesting broad access to your videos.
## Data retention and deletion
IVIDEO does not operate a server for your selected videos. You can delete an output from IVIDEO's Home screen or remove it from `Movies/IVIDEO` at any time. Temporary compression files and FFmpeg session logs are removed after work completes or the app starts again.
## Children
IVIDEO is not directed to children. Do not use it in a child-directed Play Console setting unless the advertising and consent configuration is reviewed for that audience.
## Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app, legal, or service changes. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
