Bio:

I am an economist specialized in empirical macroeconomics, labor economics and quantitative economic history. My primary research aims to identify the labor frictions behind structural unemployment.

Currently, I am a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's Economics Department working with Professor Jesús Fernández-Villaverde at the Penn Initiative for the Study of Markets. I received my PhD in Economic History from the London School of Economics under the supervision of Professors Chris Minns and Joan Roses. Likewise, I obtained my master in Economics from Georgetown University, completed an Advanced Studies Program in International Economic Policy at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (Germany), and a B.Sc. in Economics from Universidad del Norte (Colombia).
