Released: 06/20/2022 Updated: 10/29/2023
I made this addon because this one specifically, has been my dream project, from when I first started to make addons. Because I know that Minecraft will never have advanced weather, so I decided to make my own instead.
Tornadoes are violent and deadly storms. Which are usually caused by a rotating thunderstorm, preferably a supercell. There are six types of Tornadoes going from EF0 - EF5.
In this addon, the Tornadoes however unlike real life. Are limited in their damage. Mostly due to lag and performance issues. So Tornadoes are only able to pick up 55 blocks at a time. The Tornadoes can also pick players up, throw them around, and shoot them into who knows where.
The EF0 is the weakest tornado that there is, only being able to destroy a couple of blocks and being able to damage leaves off of trees. However, even though it's the weakest, it's also the fastest, and the most sporadic one in the game. The EF0 cannot pick up the player, but rather give them jump-boost and slow-falling for a low gravity effect. The EF0 can, however, drag other mobs toward it, if they get too close!
The EF1 is a lot stronger compared to the EF0. The EF1 can actually pick up mobs, off of the ground, and make them spin up the funnel. However, unlike other tornado add-ons, the player can actually be picked up as well! The EF1 also has a larger variety of blocks, that can be destroyed in its path!
The EF2 is very similar to EF1, the only difference is that it's way more destructive! The EF2 also has more of a wedged funnel shape. The EF2 will also spin you around faster, compared to the EF1, which rotates you around it pretty slowly.
The EF3 is the last tornado that is currently inside of the add-on, and also the deadliest. The EF3 not only makes you go way faster around it, but it also launches the player farther, and higher, compared to the EF1 and EF2. Also, dealing way more damage as well upon impact! The EF3 also picks up way more blocks, so getting hit by a flying block may be easier!
Fair Weather Water Spouts are like Tornadoes yes. However, they aren't caused the same way. Unlike Tornadoes, Fair Weather Water Spouts aren't caused by a supercell storm. They occur when the temperature is very humid, and when the water is warm.
Also, they don't have their own spot on the Fujita Scale, so I will be labeling them based on the Tornadoes instead.
Fair Weather Water Spouts, can go up to 73 mph; 63 knots, or less. Also, they don't really cause much damage, and they aren't really a threat. They usually only affect boats and objects in the water. On land they weaken very quickly, only lasting around a few minutes.
Make sure to have these specific toggles turned on, or certain functionality inside of the add-on will not work correctly. So make sure to have these all enabled if you want everything working correctly!

Have any bugs? If you do please check out this form. So I can be notified, and fix the problem as soon as possible.
Also if you have any problems, please be sure you're reporting on a serious issue. Not something that would go unnoticed, and no one is going to try to look for. Please be sure they are something that completely breaks the addon itself. Thank You!
