It's Our Money - Youth FellowsParticipants will learn about community control of government budgets, give ideas of how to spend $100,000, and find out how to vote before they turn 18.So far, we've found it easiest to schedule an event during a time that young people are already meeting for programming at an organization.

With It’s our Money, the Civic Engagement Commission is asking YOU how to spend $100,000 to address what young people across the city are saying they most need in this moment. We have 50 projects for you to vote on, including projects that:

Help you deal with anxiety and stress
Provide homework help and other educational programs
Career opportunities
Allow you to do the things you love – make art, play music, play soccer, tell stories, create a podcast, or garden
Give you ways to advocate to make the changes you think we need in NYC!

To choose the winners, vote for up to 5 projects on www.participate.nyc.gov and take these steps:

Click on the voting button
Check out the projects. You can sort by the borough you live in, or the type of projects you are most interested. Or BOTH!
Pick your projects and vote!
