ITool Privacy Policy

ITool respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed, used, stored, or processed when using the ITool mobile application.
ITool is designed as a set of IT, network, security, utility, and helpdesk tools. The application does not collect personal data for advertising, tracking, profiling, or resale.
Camera
ITool requests access to the device camera only for scanning QR codes.
Camera images and video are not saved, collected, uploaded, or shared by ITool. The camera is used only while the QR Scanner feature is active and initiated by the user.
Network Information
ITool may access network-related information to provide tools such as:
- IP Information
- Subnet Calculator
- DNS Lookup
- Ping Tool
- Port Checker
- Latency Test
- Device Finder
- IP Scanner
- SSH Client
- Traceroute
- Whois Lookup
- Wake-on-LAN
These tools are initiated by the user. ITool does not run hidden background scans, does not monitor the user’s network in the background, and does not send network scan results to the developer.
Some tools may process or display information such as IP addresses, hostnames, MAC addresses, open ports, DNS results, latency results, traceroute hops, or local network device information. This information is used only to provide the requested function inside the app.
SSH Client
The SSH Client feature allows users to connect to servers or network devices by entering a host, port, username, and password.
SSH credentials are used only locally on the user’s device to establish the active SSH session. ITool does not collect, store, upload, transmit to the developer, or share SSH usernames, passwords, server addresses, or session data with third parties.
Users are responsible for using the SSH Client only with systems they own or are authorized to access.
Traceroute
The Traceroute feature checks the network route between the user’s device and a host or IP address entered by the user.
Traceroute may display route hops, latency values, hostnames, and IP addresses. These results are shown only inside the app and are not collected, stored, uploaded, or shared by ITool.
Whois Lookup
The Whois Lookup feature allows users to check public WHOIS registration information for domains or IP addresses.
The domain or IP address entered by the user may be sent to public WHOIS servers in order to retrieve publicly available registration data. ITool does not store WHOIS queries or share them with the developer or third parties.
Wake-on-LAN
The Wake-on-LAN feature sends a magic packet to the MAC address and broadcast address entered by the user.
This feature is used to wake supported devices on the same local network. ITool does not collect, store, upload, transmit to the developer, or share MAC addresses, broadcast addresses, IP addresses, or Wake-on-LAN data with third parties.
CVE Lookup
The CVE Lookup feature allows users to search for public vulnerability information by CVE ID or keyword.
The entered CVE ID or keyword may be sent to a public vulnerability database API in order to retrieve publicly available vulnerability information. ITool does not store, collect, or share CVE search queries with the developer or third parties.
Security Tools
ITool includes security-related utilities such as:
- Password Generator
- Hash Generator
- Base64 Encoder and Decoder
- Cyber Quiz
- CVE Lookup
The Password Generator works locally on the device. Generated passwords are not collected, stored, uploaded, or shared by ITool unless the user manually saves or copies them outside the app.
The Hash Generator and Base64 tools process text entered by the user locally on the device. ITool does not upload or share the entered text or generated results.
QR Generator
The QR Generator feature creates QR codes based on text or links entered by the user.
Generated QR codes may be saved to the device only when the user chooses to save them. ITool does not upload or share QR code content with the developer or third parties.
Local Data
Notes and other information created by users inside the app are stored locally on the device.
This may include user-created notes, customer notes, order notes, deadline notes, error notes, or other locally saved information. ITool does not upload this information to an external server.
If the user deletes the app or clears app data, locally stored information may be deleted from the device.
Subscriptions and Payments
ITool Pro subscriptions and payments are processed by Google Play.
ITool does not collect, process, or store bank card information, payment credentials, billing details, or Google Play payment information. Payment processing is handled by Google Play according to Google’s own policies.
Internet Access
ITool uses internet access only to provide user-requested features such as DNS lookup, public IP information, port checking, Whois Lookup, CVE Lookup, SSH connections, and other network-related tools.
ITool does not use internet access for hidden tracking, advertising profiling, or unauthorized data transfer.
Data Sharing
ITool does not sell users’ personal data.
ITool does not intentionally share personal information with third parties, except where required for services operated by Google Play or where a user-requested tool needs to contact a public service, such as a WHOIS server or public vulnerability database API.
Permissions
Depending on the feature used, ITool may request access to:
- Camera
- Internet connection
- Network state
- Wi-Fi state
- Nearby Wi-Fi devices
- Local storage or media access, where required for saving generated files
These permissions are used only to provide the requested app functions.
ITool does not use permissions for background tracking, advertising profiling, or unauthorized monitoring.
User Responsibility
Some ITool features are intended for IT, network, and security diagnostics.
Users are responsible for using these tools only on systems, devices, and networks they own or are authorized to access. ITool does not support unauthorized access, exploitation, credential theft, hidden monitoring, or illegal activity.
Children’s Privacy
ITool is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
ITool does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when application features, permissions, third-party services, or legal requirements change.
Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
