Ingrid Tokun Haga

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at El Colegio de México, specializing in the study of organized violence, structural inequality, and discriminatory mechanisms in markets and institutions.

I hold a BA in International Relations and an MSc in Economics, both from El Colegio de México. I was also a Fox Fellow at Yale University and an Erasmus scholar at University College London.

My research draws on network science, and econometrics to examine how social bias and institutional arrangements perpetuate exclusion across social groups.
