Event: E-08 (Sound-Fusion)
Grade: IX – X
Participants: 1 (ONE) or 2 (TWO)
Format: Online
Online (Final) Round:
Task:
Participants must create the sound design for a 30-second to 60-second audio advertisement promoting a fictional product or service (avoid plagiarism and do not use actual brand or product names). The sound design should include:
Voiceovers: Clear and engaging voiceovers to effectively convey the product's message. Participants can record their own voice or use freely available voice samples.
Background Music: Music that enhances the mood of the advertisement and complements the product’s image without overpowering the voiceover.
Sound Effects: Relevant sound effects that make the product or service more appealing to the target audience (e.g., the sound of a camera shutter for a photography service or the sizzling of food for a restaurant).
The sound design should be professionally mixed and edited, ensuring smooth transitions between the different elements. Creativity in selecting and combining sounds is crucial, along with clarity of the advertisement’s message and alignment with the product's theme.
Participants must ensure all used sounds and music are either original or sourced from free, open-source platforms to avoid copyright issues.
