Online (Prelims) Round:

• Provided Data: Link to download the Data Excel File

• 1. Sheet 1 ("INDICATORS_DATA"): Provides country-wise data for various indicators (e.g., CO2 emissions, GDP, life expectancy) from the year 2000 onwards for most countries.

  2. Sheet 2 ("COUNTRY_REGION_LIST"): Provides a mapping of countries to their respective regions.

• Task:

  1. Linking Sheets:

     • Use the mapping provided in Sheet 2 ("COUNTRY_REGION_LIST") to categorize countries by region in Sheet 1 ("INDICATORS_DATA").

  2. Interactive Dashboard with Macros:

     • Design the interactive dashboard in Sheet 3 ("MACRO") using macros that allows users to select a specific indicator and region from dropdown menus. (Basic design of the Dashboard is already available in the Data File)

     • Write a macro that updates the visualizations (chart) dynamically based on the user's selection.

     • The dashboard should include visual elements such as line graphs or bar charts to display YOY trends (Average, Minimum and Maximum) for the selected indicator and region.

  3. Macro Requirements:

     • The macro must be well-documented with comments explaining each step of the process.

     • It should be able to handle different selections from the dropdown menus and refresh the charts automatically.

On-Campus (Final) Round:

Participants who score above the qualifying threshold will advance to the final on-campus round, where they will receive the task at that time and will be required to complete it during the event.
