Event: E-05 (Photo Editing)
Grade: VI – VIII
Participants: 1 or 2
Format: Online + On-Campus
Online (Prelims) Round:
Task: Participants are required to choose an original photograph taken during a school activity and transform it into a visually stunning edited image, showcasing their photo editing skills.
Before and After: Each participant must submit two versions of the photograph:
Original Image: The unedited photo taken during the school activity.
Edited Image: The final version after applying various editing techniques.
Participants should focus on enhancing elements such as colour correction, contrast adjustments, cropping, and adding effects. They are encouraged to use software such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, or online editors like Pixlr and Canva ONLY.
We remind all participants that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not permitted in this event. To ensure a fair competition, any use of AI will unfortunately result in disqualification.
Submission Requirements: Participants must submit the following:
Both the original and edited images in high-resolution format.
A brief description (200-300 words) detailing the techniques and tools used in the editing process, including any challenges faced and how they were overcome.
On-Campus (Final) Round:
Participants who score above the qualifying threshold will advance to the final on-campus round, where they will receive the task at that time and will be required to complete it during the event. Participants are required to bring at least one camera to capture photographs during the On-Campus Round.
