Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Assistant, you are responsible for:

• Stacking, displaying and replenishment of products on the shelves, as well as monitoring expiry dates and shelf lives of products.

• You are required to assist in the loading and unloading of goods, maintain neat and systematic storing of products and perform daily housekeeping.

• You are expected to perform cashiering duties such as AXS payment, prepaid top up, parcel services, handling the sales of tobacco products and any other duties as assigned.

Pre-Requisites

• Able to speak English to service English speaking customers

• Customer-oriented

• Able to carry heavy loads

• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays

• Able to work rotating shifts

Working Hours / Location

• Full Time (6 days)

• Part Time (4 days)

• Work Shift Timings: Morning Shift - 0640h to 1500h / Afternoon Shift - 1440h to 2300h / Night shift - 2240h to 0700h

Salary

• Full-time: $1,200 - $1,400 / month

• Part-time: $6-$8/hr

Key Responsibilities

• You are responsible for sales and profits for your category of products.

• The job tasks include inventory management, maintain housekeeping and merchandising standards as well as product planning and allocation according to sales and customer demands.

• You are also required to supervise and train a team of Retail Assistants in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Ad-hoc duties will be given as well.

Pre-Requisites

• Diploma/ GCE ‘A’ level/ Higher NITEC/ GCE ‘O’ level with minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Independent and team player with good leadership skills

• Service-oriented and hands-on person

• 6-day work week, able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

• Permanent night shift positions are also available

• Candidates without experience and those with a WSQ Diploma in Retail Management are welcome to apply

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet such as:

• Daily checklist

• Bank in

• Paperwork

• Replying email

• Training & Coaching

• Ordering & Receiving

• Safety- Customer service

• Merchandising

• Housekeeping

• Promotion update

• You are required to cover store in charge duties when the store in charge is on leave and to perform Retail Assistant duties when needed.

• Ability to read and understand product labels.

• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays

• Service-oriented and a team player
