Key Responsibilities
Support design and engineering activities under instructions from experienced engineers.
Assist project teams by carrying out routine tasks in different aspects of product design; research, conceptualisation, drawing, testing and publication.
Analyse various factors and calculations involved in ship and rig design
Work outdoors, on the shop floor, within dry docks to support production work and alignment to design specifications.

Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure smooth flow of project materials required
Provide daily material status updates to stakeholders on the purchased items
Manage utilization of surplus materials prior to raising any Purchase Request (PR)
Evaluate MTO from Engineering and Production to ensure all information ae captured and aligned
Update project material specifications, approved vendor list, country of restrictions
Highlight in purchase requisitions (PR) of any specific requirements by the clients to avoid discrepancies
Prepare and update the material status report (MSR) for MMC lead review
Raise Technical Query (TQ) for material substitution and non-approved vendor acceptance
Raise Job Confirmation Sheet for redundant materials found in MTO revision
Prepare material offcut list based on MTO quantity and cross check with site offcut list
