About ITCr ProX

ITCr ProX  is a fully featured, combined sensor data logger that, when enabled, logs the readings provided by the sensors built into your device to either a CSV or JSON file (stored locally), or for more professional, precise readings, allows the use of externally attached android compatible sensors / Microphones. Built-In sensor readings can be viewed individually for live updating, as well as being viewed from your wrist by utilizing the Sidekick WearOS app that comes as a bundled add-on. Created with attention to detail for hobbyist / professional field researchers where combined sensor data collection is paramount. Field researcher is a broad term, meaning this app can be used as a tool in a variety of categories including aviation, automotive, maritime, even obscure fields. If collecting combined sensor data is needed for your research - ITCr ProX is the only app you will ever need.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

• Email Addresses: Email addresses are collected if a user sends feedback via the feedback section contained within the app. Collected Email addresses are strictly used for communication purposes related to: Troubleshooting issues or Purchasing issues that are initiated by the user (you) and nothing else. When initiating feedback via the app, your message will be sent to the following email address: csc_cyprus@proton.me and it will be from that email address you will recieve a response. Email addresses recieved will be deleted immediately after a solution has been found in regards to why the feedback was sent in the first place and will never be shared or stored. If the feedback recieved was in regards to a feature suggestion or general comments, we will reply with an acknowledgement and immediately delete your email address after taking note of the contents.

• In-App Purchases: All purchase transactions are handled directly and securely by the Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details (such as credit card numbers). To unlock the full features of ITCr ProX Sensor Data Logger after the 14 day trial period has ended, you can make an in-app purchase, this also applies to the ITCr ProX Sidekick WearOS master sync unlock. After a purchase, Google Play provides our app with a confirmation (like a purchase token) that allows us to verify your entitlement with Google Play's services and unlock the features for you. This verification happens when you use the app to ensure continued access to purchased content.

• Absolutely no other information is collected/stored by us or shared to any third parties.

Permissions

ITCr ProX is a Sensor Data Logger, and as such requires the following permissions to be accepted to utilize full functionality. Also included are normal permissions that we request for core functionality of the app.

User Acceptable Permissions:

• Absolutely no information is collected/stored by us or shared to any third parties while using sensor features or the sensor data logging capabilities of the app. When logging is enabled, data is writted to file and stored locally on the device.  

RECORD_AUDIO / MICROPHONE: 

The following features require RECORD AUDIO / MICROPHONE permissions to be accepted to function correctly: 

• Motion Detection: Needed for recording ambient audio within the video.

• Audio Recorder: Needed to allow the recording of voice notes / audio recording.

• Sound Level Meter: Displays the sound being captured either by the devices built-in microphone / or an externally attached microphone visually, and is represented as Amplitude data.

• Sensor Data Logger: (If sensor is selected inside of the sensor data logging options): Needed to write Sound Level Amplitude data to a locally stored data file.

CAMERA:

The following features require CAMERA permissions to be accepted to function correctly:

• Motion Detection: Needed for the recording of video files.

LOCATION:

The following features require FINE/COARSE LOCATION permissions to be accepted to function correctly:

• GPS Speedometer: Needed to show the devices estimated travelling speed.

• Sensor Data Logger: (If sensor is selected inside of the sensor data logging options): Needed to write Latitude / Longitude & GPS Speedometer data to a locally stored data file.

INTERNET:

The following features require INTERNET permissions.

• ITCr ProX user demonstration YouTube video embeded within the Reference section of the app.

DATA_SYNC / NETWORK:

The following features require DATA_SYNC / NETWORK permissions:

• The syncing of sensor data from (ITCr ProX) to the embedded Wear OS app (Sidekick).

POST_NOTIFICATIONS:

The following features require POST_NOTIFICATIONS permissions:

• Logging status updating.

• SideKick WearOS app syncing notifications.

• Update notifications.

• Sensor error notifications.

VIBRATE:

The following features require VIBRATE permissions:

• Allows the device to vibrate when using the Proximity Detection feature.

Children's Privacy

ITCr ProX is not a game and intended for users over the age of 18 and as such is specified during app deployment via distribution.  We do not address anyone under the age of 13. Absolutely no personal information is collected from children through our app.

We may update the Privacy Policy from time to time, we will notify you from within the app of any changes.
