Helpful youtube videos to aid you in studying for IT Essentials and CompTIA A+

  • Professor Messer's youtube channel! Professor Messer covers all things relevant to the A+ exam. He will sometimes go into a little more depth than you need just for IT Essentials, but that will help you understand the concepts very well.
  • The TechQuickie channel and Linus Tech Tips channel are both very helpful. We frequently feature Linus in class to add to our knowledge, and he covers tons more really interesting computer topics relevant to IT Essentials and CompTIA A+.

Tuesday, March 5th

Today will be our only day covering Chapter 14: Advanced Troubleshooting. We will have a very brief lecture on this topic and then go directly into a troubleshooting activity using the virtual machines.

If there is time afterwards, we will go through a few troubleshooting scenarios as a class using the major topics in Chapter 14: Computer Components and Peripherals, Operating Systems, Networks, & Security.

Tomorrow we will have a kahoot and exam for Chapter 14!

Yesterday I handed out a study guide for the final exam! This is our last week of new material, so you're in the home stretch to finish the course! It would be good to catch up on any missing exams.
