Race 9 - 2021

Aeon Racing Series

In the media this week...

  • Marthis Fiino makes his signing official under the ownership of Harold Coins, racing as an independent - then knocks his chief mechanic out in a fight over tire pressure. An odd start!
  • Ollie Blackstone has a great week. "Sometimes we forget how blessed we are to do this for a living; hopefully I can turn this into a big win for Blackstone Motorsport."
  • Tom Reynolds' sponsor is in the news for being dangerous to public health, and that puts a negative vibe on the week for him.
  • Al Houns makes an appearance in a cooking slot on a daytime TV talk show. He comes across decently well.
  • Chad Blackstone re-organises his crew and it seems to go very well indeed - he'll start the race with a boost ready as a result of his qualifying efforts.
  • Toben Shearshanks is full of praise for his crew. "They made some changes, and things got better toward the end. I think we got it figured out now."
  • Harold Coins has a poor week. "I'm disappointed, yes. There's lots of factors, but bottom line is it falls on me to get it done."
  • Emil Ziskie qualifies third, thrilling his manager. "It's like they say in racin', you never know; so I guess this was our week to shine."
  • Andy McEvoy has some friction with his crew chief and it seems to unsettle him.
  • Abnaber Salad begins his retirement tour of scrapyards in the local area, and this seems to push him onwards compared to his usual dire qualifying performances.
  • Race Practise Results: A permanent improvement for Marthis Fiino, with temporary improvements for Bargain Bill and Ozama Takeshi. That means a 5% bonus to everyone else's chances next week.
