  • Press release: Yellow In Front Forever would like to put on the record its opposition to the late notice change to the iStock calendar, a move that is clearly for the benefit of the fat cats at the top. Team manager Bear Wood, said: "Scheduling involvement in iStock is already difficult for those of us with litters, hibernations to plan and flea treatments to top up." Daytona Beach is an important meet up for the Yellow In Front Forever team, situated as it is in an area with a high concentration of like-minded individuals. With the iStock date hopping forward one day, it clashes with the annual Daytona Beach "Only If" festival for our fans and the wider fauna fun community. "Not only will this be negative for our fan base, but the team stands to lose a significant amount of money from a tie-in with local dry cleaners, who usually benefit immensely from the patronage of our fans after 'Only If'," said Wood. "We also stood to make a killing selling biohazard suits to the dry cleaning employees, but I guess that plan's roadkill now too." The team would like to make it clear that they plan to make this weekend as uncomfortable as possible for the organisers. "I think there'll be a few surprises this meet," said Wood.
  • Oliver Otter has a terrible week due to ongoing crew conflict. They're just trying to survive until restructuring at the end of the season, if social media is to be believed.
  • Kerry Mackinaw suffers the same as Otter - a disorganised and angry crew helps no-one.
  • Rain Winterson is unhappy in her press conference. "I heard other drivers saying some things about us. I just wanna say, we won't forget they said that."
  • Hunky Davis has a great week and qualifies alongside Avianna Muir. "Drivers like her make this sport great, and we're looking forward to runnin' against her this week."
  • Kieran Easter makes a cameo appearance in an episode of Mythbusters, released coinciding with race week.
  • Ragnar Slipper has a poor week. "Some days you get the breaks, some days you don't. Seemed today like anything that COULD go wrong, DID."
  • Leapfrog Jones is delighted as he sits on pole for this week's race, thanking his crew for putting together a fine car on their limited budget.
  • Airen Slipper has personal, domestic issues leaked to TMZ, and this clearly knocks him off his pace.
  • RACE PRACTICE RESULTS: Permanent improvements: Al Houns

Temporary Improvements: Varalia Spiders, Foggy Cockburn, Jac Houns, Airen Slipper
