Istanbul Restaurant Derby

This week, we fancied Turkish food and so we headed to Istanbul Restaurant, which opened in October last year. The restaurant has branches across the country in Leicester, Manchester, Birmingham, and Oldham.

The restaurant was quiet, as could be expected for a Tuesday, but the staff were really friendly and attentive nonetheless. The restaurant itself can seat 120 people at full capacity and has an open kitchen where you can see all of your food being prepared.

Istanbul's menu is vast and you are absolutely spoiled for choice when it comes to what they offer. The restaurant advertises that it can cater to many dietary needs, from vegetarian to gluten-free.

The hummus was so smooth and rich that it felt like a cloud, and along with the cacik it was the perfect partner for the mountain of complimentary bread. The sigara boregi were perfectly crisp and the restaurant provided a very generous portion of halloumi.

Having seen St Mary's Church & Parish, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Istanbul Restaurant Derby is recommended to Turkish cuisine lovers. Perfectly cooked kebabs, rack of lamb and chicken skewers may be what you need. Get your meal started with great tea.

The cosy atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is creative at this spot. Cool service is something guests agree upon here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with democratic prices at this restaurant. Based on the users' feedback on Google, Istanbul Restaurant Derby deserved 4.5.

The middle are windows of businesses. There is a bored anthropomorphic cat looking out the glass panes of a publisher. There is a dance studio, and below it a restaurant, and two other talking animals lounging at a cafe. Someone peers out of their apartment window, looking at nothing in particular in the street, where a preschooler's checklist of people in your neighborhood drawn as bears, dogs, and cats do the work of the twelve or so professions a four year old knows and believes in. The garbageman takes the trash away. A fireman waits for fire. A cop waves an ambulance through with a polite smile rendered with three strokes of a pencil.
