Conference Presentation
August 28-30, 2025
The Department of Civil Engineering at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) is pleased to announce the Second Edition of the International Conference on Innovations in Smart and Sustainable Infrastructure (ISSI 2.0), scheduled to take place from August 28-30, 2025. This conference will bring together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss advancements and challenges in civil engineering, with a focus on smart, sustainable, and geospatially integrated infrastructure solutions.
Building on the success of ISSI 1.0 held in August 2022, which featured over 100 technical papers from national and international contributors, ISSI 2.0 aims to provide a broader platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration across various sectors. The papers presented at ISSI 1.0 were published by Springer Nature, highlighting the academic and practical contributions of the conference. ISSI 2.0 will continue to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among industry professionals and researchers.
The conference will feature keynote addresses and technical paper presentations addressing the following core themes:
We invite researchers, industry professionals, and students to submit their technical papers addressing innovations and solutions in smart, sustainable infrastructure. The conference provides a platform for participants to showcase research findings, exchange ideas, and discuss practical applications in infrastructure development.
Select papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published.
Springer Nature does not charge any money for publication of Non-Open Access content. Abstracts/extended abstracts and short papers (less than 4 pages) are not considered for publication.
Selected papers will be published in upcoming volumes of Scopus Indexed Springer Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering after passing quality checks, in line with the first edition (ISSI 1.0, 2022) shown below.
