ISPOR Student Symposium 2022
Virtual, Friday, May 27th 2022
9:00AM - 5:00PM
It is a pleasure to invite you to the second ISPOR Student Chapter Symposium in Australia. The symposium is intended as an annual event where students and early career researchers (ECRs) can meet and are provided with the opportunity to interchange ideas, their latest research, experiences and connect with academics, and relevant industry professionals. The symposium will also provide a platform for the promotion of ISPOR and the Chapter and to attract new students to the opportunities available. This year’s symposium will be jointly hosted by the ISPOR Victoria and Tasmania Chapter and the ISPOR Sydney Student and ECR Chapter.
About the ISPOR Chapters
The ISPOR Victoria and Tasmania Chapter was officially endorsed by ISPOR in April 2020. The Chapter is a collaboration between Deakin University, Monash University, University of Melbourne, and University of Tasmania. The Chapter caters to students and ECRs with interests in health economics, health services, and health outcomes research, especially in the disciplines of public health, epidemiology, health economics and pharmacology. The Chapter’s mission is to build capacity of members, to foster the development of excellence in the fields of health economics and health services and outcomes research. In addition, the Chapter seeks to create a platform where members can network and connect with others from pharmaceutical industry, health-related organizations, and academia.
The ISPOR Sydney Student and ECR Chapter, officially endorsed by ISPOR in July 2020, provides opportunities for professional development and a platform for knowledge exchange and networking for students and ECRs in health economics and outcomes research. The chapter is composed of students and ECRs from 7 universities across New South Wales and Canberra.
