COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course covers health disciplines including: Cosmethology, Physiotherapy, Psychophisical Human Development and Dietetics. It has the objective to acquaint students with how to look after themselves by adopting healthy habits, including a healthy diet, exercise, hygiene and stress management. It will also teach the participants some relaxation techniques, massage procedures etc.
The cosmetology part of the course will allow students to learn currently popular methods that improve the condition of the skin and reduce the symptoms associated with the aging process. The aim of our part of the Summer School is to present the latest therapies currently used in cosmetology, as well as to obtain knowledge on how to use these methods in planning therapeutic programs recommended for specific problems encountered by our clients. In the part entitled "white cosmetics" we will focus on treatments using the latest active ingredients currently present in cosmetic preparations that improve the condition of skin with defects, while in the part regarding technology we will characterize treatments in the field of the latest technologies currently used in cosmetics, including: radio waves, ultrasounds, carbon dioxide, pressotherapy, infrared radiation.
This dietetics parts of Health and Personal Well-Being course will enable students to develop skills which in turn will allow them to help understand nutrition correlated with management of body weight. Students will apply strategic thinking to decision-making situations in clinical cases, planning healthy diet and preparing recommendations. The strategy of body composition analysis, solving nutritionist problems and decision making in clinical case studies will be part of this program.
WHO IS IT AIMED AT?
This course is designed for all students interested in a healthy, active lifestyle. We will teach how to work the body and mind to support the parasympathetic nervous system in order to put the body and mind into a state of relaxation. We will present selected relaxation techniques and teach selected physical activities that can contribute to better health (Nordic walking, yoga).
In addition, the course is designed for people who want to learn about their physical fitness. We will use neuromuscular tests for functional assessment so that participants can plan wise and safe strength training.
Students, working in teams, will develop and present a program called Health and well-being dedicated to a specific client/patient.

A. Care cosmetics based on active ingredients. Characteristics of defects occurring on clients' bodies, including cellulite, stretch marks, lack of firmness, excess fat tissue located in certain areas of the body.. Presentation and discussion of active ingredients most often recommended for eliminating body defects.Carrying out treatment procedures based on algae preparations. Learning modeling and drainage massage
B. Technologies used in body treatments. Characteristics of lipolaser technology, ultrasound, bipolar and microneedle radiofrequency, infrared radiation and carboxytherapy. Discussion of indications, contraindications and treatment methodology. Carrying out treatments using the technologies discussed.
