Frequently Asked Questions
Does iSmile offer scaling, fillings, or braces?
At iSmile, we focus exclusively on teeth whitening treatments. We do not offer other dental services, but we’ll be happy to recommend a dentist in the iSmile area.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes, absolutely. We only use high-quality whitening products that meet international standards, and all procedures are performed by professionals to ensure your safety and comfort.
How many sessions are needed to see results?
Most customers notice a change in tooth color after just one session. However, depending on the condition of your teeth and your desired results, additional sessions may be needed.
Does teeth whitening cause pain or discomfort?
Most customers do not feel any pain. Some may experience mild sensitivity during or after the session, but this usually subsides quickly.
How long do the whitening results last?
Results can last from a few months up to six months, depending on your lifestyle, diet, and oral hygiene habits.
Does whitening affect crowns, veneers, or fillings?
Whitening is most effective on natural teeth. Crowns, veneers, and fillings will not change color and will remain the same shade as before.
Do I need to get scaling before whitening?
If there is visible tartar or plaque, we recommend having a cleaning done first. However, if your teeth are already clean, whitening can be done immediately.
Can I whiten my teeth while wearing braces?
Yes, as long as you’re not planning to remove the braces in the near future.
When can I eat or drink normally after whitening?
We recommend avoiding dark-colored foods and beverages (such as coffee, tea, tomato sauce, soy sauce) for at least 24 hours after the treatment to maintain optimal results.
Is teeth whitening suitable for children?
Teeth whitening is not recommended for children under 12 years old, as their teeth are still developing.
