SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Eng. Ismail KTATA is as Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering.
From 2014 to 2020 he was a Visiting Assistant Professor and he served as chair of the Computer Department at Taif University in Saudi Arabia. From 2012 to 2014 he served as Assistant Professor at Gabes University in Gabes, Tunisia. From 2008 to 2012 he served as Lecturer at Sfax University in Sfax, Tunisia.
He received his Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering in 2007, and his Master degree in Computer System Engineering in 2008 from Sfax University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer System Engineering from the University of Cergy-Pontoise in France in 2013, under the co-supervision of the Professor Bertrand Granado and the Professor Mohamed Abid.
His research interests span both computer engineering and computer science. Much of his work has been on improving the understanding, design, and performance of Real Time Operating Systems in Dynamically Reconfigurable Architectures and particularly new technologies for adaptive FPGA run-time reconfiguration.
