This Christmastime, Island Fat Ass brings you a film production! So pull up a chair (to tie your running shoes) and come join the show. The first series of Christmas movie trailers are available for preview now and available on-demand starting Dec 1 (i.e. you can log your results starting Dec 1). The second series will drop on Dec 5, and the third will drop on Dec 12, just when you're getting sick of watching trailers already.
There will be an afternoon launch party (aka Chicken Mile) on Dec 12, where hors d'oeuvres will be served (meat, veggie and vegan options available in regulated portions). Because what better way to prepare for a 50k than to run 1 mile, right?
The feature film, Die Hard, will be screened on Sat, Dec 18. The full director's cut is long, so come prepared.
And now that we've finished mixing up all the movie references we know, please read the following important points before checking out the plot synopses below.
**Please re-read the club creed on the main page. You MUST be prepared and self-sufficient on all IFA runs. Know the route. IFA runs are not led group runs.
**Click on the results spreadsheet below or here to log your runs. You may do any of the Movie Trailers runs until end of day on Dec 19, 2021.
**Santa's workshop was overwhelmed this year so the elves likely won't have any prizes to offer. Maybe some popcorn for the feature film....
