The Chosen Ones

Come frolic with the ferns and prance through puddles as you explore the best of Metchosin's muddy single track. 

Starting from the main parking lot for Matheson Lake, the route traces the lakeshore, then uses the Galloping Goose to access the Cedar Grove Trail, a lightly trafficked rainforest ramble. New for 2024, the route does not return to the lakeshore but rather heads off on a meandering tour of Metchosin parks. Enjoy traipsing through Eleanor Mann Park, the Metchosin Wilderness Park (aka, 100 Acre Wood), and Bob Mountain Trail Park before winding up back where you started.
