Join us for the 2023 running of the Seven Peaks run and celebrate Canada's 156th Birthday with a bonus peak.
Due to Bear Mountain closing their trails to the public, we can no longer access Mount Finlayson from Bear Mountain as we have in the past. So we have a re-route and a new peak. More elevation and more distance. Then take a nice picture at the top of every mountain, standing tall, facing Bear Mountain and showing them the middle finger!
We will provide water drops again at Caleb Pike and Munn Rd as water along the route in summer is practically non-existent. The Jickling family has once again kindly offered to run an aid station and drop water at Caleb Pike and Munn Road.

The 45 km route starts and finishes at the main beach at Thetis Lake Regional Park. From the beach we head out south over Mill Hill (203 m), then along the E and N Trail, Ed Nixon Trail at Langford Lake and then into Goldstream Provincial Park via the Group Campground and up and over Mount Finlayson (406 m). From here we enter Gowlland Tod Provincial Park and over Holmes Peak (330 m) and Jocelyn Hill (430 m) following the spectacular ridge trail. Then, after dropping to sea level at McKenzie Bight, we climb to highest point at the summit of Mount Work (450 m) in Mount Work Regional Park. Then back into Thetis Lake Regional Park to go over Stewart Mountain (266 m), Scafe Hill (232 m) and Seymour Hill (141 m) before finishing at the beach. In all, over 2200 metres of elevation gain running through two Provincial parks, three regional parks, and one municipal park.

You can also run the classic Seven Peaks route starting at Goldstream. For this, you will need to arrange your own carpool to Goldstream from our meeting place at Thetis Lake, and to get back to your car at Goldstream from the Thetis finish. This route is about 35 km.
Or run some other variation of the route and make your own travel arrangements!
