Ascend/descend the equivalent elevation of the mightiest “regional” peaks at an expanding regional level by cumulatively summiting seven mighty “regional” peaks:

Canadian Rockies: Mount Robson @ 3,954 m
British Columbia: Mount Fairweather @ 4,671 m
Canada: Mount Logan @ 5,956 m
North America: Denali (Mount McKinley) @ 6,190 m
Global: Mount Everest @ 8,848 m
Complete three varying, reasonably central, and accessible routes that, in their own way, pack a punch. Detailed location and turn-by-turn information can be found here.

At minimum, you MUST complete (run/hike/walk/crawl) each of the three routes/segments at least ONCE during the challenge. Congratulations, with 1,312 m you will have already climbed above the highest peak in the CRD - Edinburgh Mountain.
As you otherwise climb towards your goal peak, pick and choose from any of the three routes, completing them any number of times, in any order and at any time of day during the window.
Only completion of a FULL route/segment will count towards your cumulative elevation. If you really don’t want to go 1 m more than the listed peak total, for your LAST OUTING ONLY you can do a partial route/segment.
Saturday kick-off! We'll meet at 9am on Saturday, April 11 to do laps of the McKenzie Bight segment together. This is optional but we hope to see you there! And yes, the event officially starts at 7am, so feel free to get in some early bird laps, then stay as long as you like.
This is neither a distance nor time-based challenge - it is an ELEVATION challenge (although I’m sure eyes will be on the fastest segment times too). Only the listed segment stats will be used to tally your totals, regardless of what sweet elevations your watch whispers to you.
Log your daily results (number of laps) by opening the Results Spreadsheet shown below or linked here.
Enter your name (only once, not each day) in the yellow “Name” cell in the first available row.
Enter the date of your first lap and most recent lap.
Enter your completed number of laps in your yellow “Laps” cell for each Route.
View, savour and relish your ever-growing accomplishments in the “TOTAL” section.
