Think it'll be an early spring? Come find out; over and over and over and over again.
Steeped in ancient cinematic folklore, Marmot Day conveniently occurs on the closest weekend to Groundhog Day. Emerge from your wintery burrows and stay trapped in the thematically-shaped time loop for as long as it takes you to find personal growth and redemption, or something better to do.
Participants must complete a minimum of two loops (in keeping with the theme) and each 4km loop will bring you back to the parking lot to refresh, reflect and repeat. Expect nordic foot baths, eco-friendly car washes, artisanal trails, and a seasonal amount of déjà vu.
Location: Start/finish at the Sooke Hills Wilderness Regional Park South Trailhead parking lot.
