Commitment to Your Privacy
IslamiAI (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the IslamiAI mobile application (the “App”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the App.

Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the App, and information stored locally on your device for the App to function. If you create an account, we collect details such as your email address and the name you provide. We also store your language preference to display content in your chosen language. When you use AI-related features (such as AI Mentor, dream interpretation, or personalized analysis), we collect the text you submit and any inputs you choose to provide (for example name/surname, birth date, and birth place/location text) so we can generate the requested results. If you enable optional features, the App may process location information to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction, and it may process voice input if you choose to use speech-to-text.

Information Stored on Your Device
The App stores certain data locally to deliver core functionality and improve your experience. This may include sign-in session information to keep you logged in, app preferences (such as language and notification settings), limited feature history where applicable (for example, chat history), and trial usage counters for specific features. Some preferences may be stored using iOS secure storage (Keychain), which can persist across reinstalls depending on device behavior.

How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and maintain the App’s features, including prayer times, Qibla, Qur’an reading and progress, reminders, and other tools. We also use it to provide AI responses when you use AI features, to authenticate and manage your account, to restore your session, and to sync certain data across devices when you are logged in (such as prayer logs, Qur’an progress, and AI history) if you use those features. We use information to verify premium access, to process and restore entitlements, to prevent abuse, and to troubleshoot and improve reliability.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to provide the App and its features. This can include sharing data with backend infrastructure providers used for authentication and storage (such as Supabase) when you are logged in and syncing is enabled. When you use AI features, the content you submit is sent to an AI provider (such as Google Gemini) to generate a response; because of this, you should avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information in AI prompts. To provide content and calculations, the App may also contact third-party APIs and content sources (for example for prayer times, Qur’an text/translation/tafsir, hadith content, daily reminders, and recitation audio hosting). Purchases and payments are handled by Apple through the App Store, and Apple may process information according to its own policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the App, and our rights.

Data Retention
Information stored on your device remains until you delete it, reset it, log out, or uninstall the App (with the note that some Keychain items may remain after uninstall depending on iOS behavior). If you are logged in and use cloud sync, data stored in our backend may be retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, unless you request deletion where available.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Controls
You can control permissions such as Location, Notifications, and Speech Recognition in iOS Settings at any time. You also control what you choose to enter into the App, especially in AI features. Logging out stops cloud syncing and removes session access from the App.

Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Users
Your information may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this processing where permitted by law.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be made available wherever the Privacy Policy is posted and will take effect when posted.
