Alvi Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Islam Dost mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Location Data

The App uses your device's location (with your permission) to calculate accurate Prayer Times and Qibla direction for your area. You can also set your location manually instead of using GPS. Location data is used only for this purpose and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Device and Usage Data

We may collect non-personal information such as device type, operating system version, and app usage statistics through Firebase Analytics, to help us understand how the App is used and to improve its performance and stability.

Photos and Storage Access

If you use the Custom Dua or Captured Dua features to save or share a Dua image, the App requests permission to save images to your device's gallery. We do not access, collect, or upload any other photos or files from your device.

Notifications

The App uses local notifications (not sent from our servers) to alert you about Prayer times, Azan alarms, Dua reminders, and Tasbeeh reminders. These notifications are scheduled and managed entirely on your device.

Purchase Information

If you subscribe to our Ads-Free plan (monthly or yearly), the purchase is processed securely through Google Play's billing system. We do not collect or store your payment card details; this is handled entirely by Google Play.

Advertising

Islam Dost displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support the free version of the App. AdMob may collect and use data (such as advertising ID) to show relevant ads, in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. You can remove all ads permanently by subscribing to our Ads-Free plan.

Data Storage

Most of your app data — including Dhikr counts, Tasbeeh history, saved Duas, bookmarks, and preferences — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers, except where required for the features described above (such as displaying ads). 

Children's Privacy

Islam Dost does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or adults. The App is designed to be safe and appropriate for users of all ages.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information handled by the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect information used to identify you:

• Google AdMob (advertising)

• Google Play Billing (subscription purchases)
