Thank you for visiting my website!

I am a former Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Penn State University - Abington. Please check back later to find my new/current position.

Before that I worked as a software engineer at Infor Talent Science.

I have received my Ph.D. in computer science in 2014 from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington under Dr. Christoph Csallner. Here is the official commencement video and you could find me just before 1:00 min in it! :-).

I got my Bachelor degree in 2007 from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

My primary field of research is Software Engineering, specifically automatic software testing. I also collaborated on different projects regarding random program generation for testing program analysis and testing tools.

In the summer of 2013 I was an SDET intern at Microsoft in the SQL-Business Intelligence team. My assignment was to collect natural language queries from the crowd for their new service, called the Power Q&A. I designed experiments, used the crowd-sourcing framework from Bing for different data models and analyzed collected data to find new query patterns and bugs!

I was also a research intern at the Accenture Technology Labs supervised by Dr. Mark Grechanik in the summer of 2010. I worked on the CarFast project where we experimented with and analyzed different existing software testing approaches along with our proposed novel technique for achieving higher test coverage faster.
