Ishaara is developed by Partha Sarathi Manna and Team.
This mobile application helps users recognize and understand sign-language gestures using on-device computer-vision models.
When you sign in using Google Authentication or Email Login, we collect:
Full Name (as provided by Google or entered manually)
Email Address
This information is required only to create your account and allow you to access app features like profiles and personalization.
We do NOT collect passwords.
All authentication is handled securely by Supabase Auth.
The app uses your device’s camera to detect hand gestures.
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
Photos
Videos
Live camera feed
Biometric identifiers
All camera data stays on your device.
We use your information strictly for:
To allow you to log in to the app
To display your name and email in your profile
To maintain your session across the app
All model processing happens locally on your device
No gesture data or camera images are uploaded to servers
We do NOT:
Sell or share user information
Use tracking or analytics
Show personalized ads
Store or analyze gesture data
Your name and email are stored securely in Supabase.
We do not store any other personal data.
No camera data is stored. Everything is processed in real-time and deleted immediately after use.
We follow industry-standard security practices, including:
End-to-end encrypted authentication
Secure data transmission
No access to password or sensitive Google account data
Ishaara may be used by children for education.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except:
Name (only if login is used)
Email (only if login is used)
If you believe your child has used the app without consent, contact us and we will remove the account immediately.
We use:
Used for login and storing user name and email.
We do NOT use:
Advertising SDKs
Analytics SDKs
Tracking libraries
Social media trackers
If we add new services in future updates, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
Account information (name & email) is kept until the user deletes their account.
No gesture, camera, or behavioral data is stored.
We may update this Privacy Policy.
Changes will be posted here with a new Effective Date.
