Some days, it feels like nothing matters. You wake up, scroll, take a nap, or ignore a message, thinking it won’t change anything. Other days, it feels like every choice matters. Every choice will change the path of your future, such as overthinking anything you do, or can’t stop thinking about how life will go wrong. Should you spend more time studying for that test? Should you finally spend time with the friend that you’re slowly becoming distant with? Caring too less or caring too much, maybe even caring just enough. All ways are exhausting, and . Iit can really be unbearable.
Of course, the truth is that every choice you make matters, . Nno matter how heavy or light. Getting out of bed even when your blanket tries to pull you back is a win. Handing in your test even when you didn’t answer everything is a win. Spending a quiet moment with one who needs it is a win. All the small decisions and choices you make, are all wins. They shift your day, your mindset, and slowly, the person you are becoming.
Even when everything feels overwhelming or meaningless, your choices matter. You do not have to have your life figured out yet, and you certainly do not need to control every outcome. What matters is choosing the right, valuable decisions. Every test you studied for, every conversation you’ve had, every moment you choose to engage with life is a win. Every small decision you make builds the story of you, and the person you are becoming.
You are capable. You are growing. You are doing it. One choice at a time, in school and beyond.
These small choices will eventually lead to big ones. You are building a life that matters. Because in the end, your life isn’t built by one big decision, but rather the small ones that follow along the way.
