What would you do if a billionaire gave you everything, but you had never met him in your life? The Inheritance Games is the first book in a captivating series about a girl named Avery Kylie Grambs, whose life changes completely when she learns she is set to inherit a fortune from a stranger, Tobias Hawthorne, a wealthy billionaire. This unexpected news takes her to the impressive Hawthorne mansion, where she meets Tobias's four grandsons.
Avery discovers that Tobias disinherited his entire family and left everything to her, which creates a lot of tension for the family as well as herself, seeing as he didn’t just give her his wealth; he also left behind a series of puzzles and mysteries for Avery and the brothers to solve together. As they work through these clues, Avery learns more about the family and begins to uncover the secrets surrounding her inheritance.
I loved "The Inheritance Games"! From the moment I delved into Avery's journey, I was captivated by the clever twists and the intricate puzzles that unfolded. The mystery, suspense, and the complex dynamics between Avery and the Hawthorne brothers kept me on the edge of my seat. I found myself rooting for Avery as she navigated the shadows of Tobias Hawthorne's secrets while trying to find her place in a world filled with intrigue and unexpected challenges. It’s definitely one of those books that I couldn’t put down, and I’m eager to see where the story goes next!
The Inheritance Games is filled with excitement, mystery, and adventure. It explores themes of family, trust, and what it means to belong. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery with a mix of action and a little romance. It’s a gripping story that will keep you turning the pages until the very end!
You can find it in the MRC in the mystery section! It is a part of a series, and the next books are The Hawthorne Legacy, The Final Gambit, The Brothers Hawthorne, and The Grandest Game. There is also another book with short stories called Games Untold.
