ABOUT US
The Department of Biomedical Engineering, MIT Manipal, is pleased to announce the hosting of the "International Symposium on Current Trends in Biomedical Engineering" (ISCTBME24). The symposium aims to provide a dynamic forum for young minds to explore various facets of research in biomedical engineering, gain insights from distinguished academicians and industry leaders, and network with peers from across geographies. The symposium will feature a series of keynote lectures delivered by renowned experts who have made significant contributions to recent advancements in the field.
ISCTBME 2024 invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit abstract-based posters. Selected abstracts & posters will be published in the symposium proceedings (on our website) and featured in our poster session (hybrid mode). The keynote lectures and poster presentations are designed to showcase recent and emerging developments in biomedical engineering, foster enriching discussions among participants, and encourage collaborative opportunities. It also aims to enhance participation across the field. While we have outlined specific symposium subtopics under three tracks (see below), we welcome contributions that extend beyond these areas, reflecting the evolving nature of biomedical engineering.
