We invite the academic community - undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, professors and other interested parties - to participate in the VIII International Seminar in Cultural Psychology (ISCP), promoted by the Research Group on Cultural Psychology (Cults/PPGPSI/Institute of Psychology of the Federal University of Bahia) in partnership with the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE), the Postgraduate Program in Education - Northeast Education Network (RENOEN/UFRPE), the Postgraduate Program in Cognitive Psychology (UFPE). In addition, the event has the support of the Gruppo di Ricerca sulle Interazioni Sociali/Research Group of Social Interactions (GRiS - UNISA).

The 8th ISCP will take place in Salvador, BA, Brazil, from April 14 to 16, 2025. The theme for this seminar is "Cannibalizing Cultural Psychology". We are proposing an innovative format that includes six sessions (banquets). During these sessions, contributions from prominent scholars in Cultural Psychology will be examined and deconstructed, meaning "intellectually cannibalized" by a group of participants, referred to as "cannibals", who will dismember, dissect, eat, digest, and produce new intellectual food.
