The Purpose of this project is to document the workflow via which 3D models are processed and Printed.
After the model is designed via the process demonstrated in the Project Headphone Case.
The model in the form of an STL file will be imported into slicer software. Such software can be that of CURA slicer, Prusa Slicer, SLIC3R or any 3d modelling Processing slicer. The model is then oriented in the desired orientation.
After orienting, the desired print setting will be entered and the model previewed. The time of Printing and Cost can be observed and settings reviewed
The model is then Exported in the form of a G-Code file, which is a series of universal commands that are read and understood by our 3D printer and is standard on most Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Machines, and uploaded or transferred onto the 3D Printer.
