Most Smart TVs (such as Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Roku, Philips Saphi) are closed platforms that don’t support APK sideloading and lack an “Unknown Sources” option.
Below are two viable methods—using the built-in browser or screen casting—to watch iSakura TV on any Smart TV brand.
1️⃣ Built-in Browser Web App
Use your remote to open the TV’s built-in browser (e.g. Samsung Internet, LG TV Browser).
In the address bar, enter the Web TV URL: http://webtv.hmfyw.net/
Once playback starts successfully, choose “Add Bookmark” or “Add to Home Screen.”
Next time, launch iSakura TV directly from the home-screen shortcut.
Advantages:
No installation required
Always up to date
Disadvantages:
Playback smoothness depends on the TV’s browser performance
2️⃣ Mobile / Computer Screen Casting
Android → Miracast
On your TV: go to Settings → enable Screen Mirroring.
On your Android device: open Settings → Connections → Screen Cast → select your TV.
iOS → AirPlay
If your TV supports AirPlay, enable AirPlay on the TV.
On your iPhone: open Control Center → tap Screen Mirroring (AirPlay) → select your TV.
Chrome → Chromecast
Plug a Chromecast device into your TV and connect it to the network.
On your desktop Chrome browser: click the menu (⋮) → Cast → select your TV.
Advantages:
No TV-side installation needed
Mirrors your mobile/desktop screen
Disadvantages:
Requires all devices on the same network
Video quality may be affected by network speed and encoding latency
