If you're having trouble connecting to Web TV using Chrome or Edge, there's a known issue where the browser will automatically redirect to HTTPS, even if you manually typed in the URL as HTTP.
To fix this, you can try the following steps:
1. Open your Chrome or Edge browser.
2. Type in the following URL in the address bar to open the settings page:
chrome://net-internals/#hsts
edge://net-internals/#hsts
3. Scroll to the bottom and find the "Delete domain security policies" setting. Enter "localhost" and press "Delete." Enter "http://webtv.hmfyw.net/ " and press "Delete."
4. Clear the browser cache and restart the browser.
If you have a bookmark for the web tv page, deleting it before reassessing the website is recommended.
An alternative solution is to allow http://webtv.hmfyw.net on Chrome.
You can add the URL to "Show insecure content" in the settings.
This method is temporary and needs to be repeated every time the cache is cleared.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click the three-dot menu icon in the browser's top-right corner.
2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down to "Privacy and security" and click "Site settings".
4. Scroll down to "Insecure content" and click on it.
5. Click on "Add" and enter http://webtv.hmfyw.net.
6. Click on "Add" to confirm
7. Close the settings tab.
This should allow http://webtv.hmfyw.net to be accessed on Chrome.
