About me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in linguistics at Yale. I received my B.A. in mathematics from Pomona College in 2020, where my research was in the areas of algebraic combinatorics and representation theory. I took a syntax class (by chance!) the second semester of my third year in college, which sparked my interest in linguistics.

My primary area of research is mathematical linguistics, where I work at the intersection of theoretical mathematics, theoretical syntax, and theoretical computer science. My interests also include syntax, morphology, morphosyntax, and computational linguistics. I am a member of the Computational Linguistics at Yale (CLAY) lab.

I love learning new languages, traveling, yoga, and hiking with my dog Clove.

I spent the Spring 2025 semester as a visiting student researcher at the California Institute of Technology working with Professor Matilde Marcolli.
