I am a student at Radford University, studying Criminal Justice and Political Science. I am a part of the Honors College here at Radford and a member of the Mock Trial team.
I chose Criminal Justice for many reasons. I grew up watching a lot of documentaries and knew a lot about true crime. It has always fascinated me, and the many facets of criminal justice always seemed so interesting. I wanted to be a detective, but after some health issues, I determined that being a cop was not the best course of action for me. My second major is Political Science. After a switch from Psychology, I decided I wanted to pursue Political Science instead. I liked psychology, but after really deciding I wanted to be a lawyer, I determined Political Science would be more beneficial in the long run.
I am currently Logistics Coordinator for the Radford University Mock Trial team, President and founder of the Radford University Archery Club, and a casual member of the Radford University Car Club and Law Society.
My first competition at UMBC, playing lead investigator Taren Rivera (2025)
The Mock Trial Team, VT's Hokie Hoedown Invitational (2025)
Radford University's Mock Trial Team at University of Tennessee- Knoxville Regionals Competition (2026)
Radford Mock Trial at Hamilton, Ohio ORCS (2026)
I joined Radford University Mock Trial (RUMT) in Fall 2025 and am a very dedicated member of the team. I attended every invitational the team went to in the fall semester, competed in Regionals in 2026, and watched my team compete in ORCS (Opening Round Championship Series). I was elected RUMT Logistics Coordinator for Fall 2026-Spring 2027.
The mock trial team means a lot to me. I have met a great group of people and have come out of my shell. I was terrified of public speaking in high school, and coming into college, I wanted to try something new. Now, I perform on the team with less fear and the encouragement of amazing people by my side. Everyone on the team has been such a light in my life, and I look forward to continuing to serve my team members and compete with them.
I founded and am the first president of the Radford University Archery Club, an intermural recreational and future competitive archery club at Radford University. I have always been interested in archery, but did not get to do it much growing up since my main sport was Horseback riding. Since I retired from horseback riding due to injuries, I have decided to find another sport I enjoy-- and that is archery. Upset that there was no archery team at Radford, I decided to found one. As of April 2026, the club has been approved and we are attempting to find an advisor. I have multiple people interested in the club and I cannot wait to see what this club becomes.
I have always been interested in cars, but my interest really grew in high school when I got my own car. I got my car, a 2016 Jeep Renegade. At first, I wanted a Jeep Wrangler, but they were a little out of my price range. I soon grew to love my little jeep and plan on wrapping her and modding her in the future. I have learned a lot about cars and plan on learning more through the RUCC.
