I ask because my recent experiece was very poor. I purchased two tickets for the London Flower Show as a returment gift for a collegue, I also booked a trian and hotel for the weekend, all of which I did 6 weeks in advance. Two days before the event when enquiring about the delivery of the tickets I was informed they were no longer available and I would receive a refund, but with no care given to the train or hotel let alone the loss of the retirement gift. The viagogo policy is stated to give you alternate tickets or similar tickets for the event however, despite viagogo still selling tickets on their site they would not give them to me unless I paid an additional 200. Despite best effort I was unable to gain any support, telephone numbers to management, email addresses or even their postal addfress as the customer service rep told me it was for security pruposes they would not offer their location (google told me within 30 seconds). I reveied my refund but lost the tickets and the grand gesture to my collegue. viagogo did not reply to my concerns and still today some two week late the bitterness that prevails forces me to continue a campaigne to advise others to steer clear of this company. Additional research also shows many more like me, discussions in PArliment and across the media about the dreadful attitide, sevice and costs associated with this company. Be warned.

I have purchased many tickets from viagogo and never had to send my passport info beforehand, make sure to bring your passport to the game thought. Never had any issue with viagogo either, except that one time my tickets were not delivered at the expected time, so I had to phone. After the long Italian message in the beginning I think I pressed 0, and when someone answered I asked if they spoked English and they did. We resolved the problem over the phone and I got my tickets.

Try calling again.

i encountered the exact issue with Viagogo.

Recieved a mail saying:

"The tickets you bought require a copy of a valid ID for every ticket holder.

Please click here within 24 hours to send each identification, otherwise your order will be cancelled."

Is that a legit request ?

I also bought Tickets for the game on April 30th. I had the exact same email from viagogo yesterday, and the link was broken from the start. I didn't submit anything and was unable to get an answer by replying to the email or by tweeting at them or DMing them on twitter. I have no idea what the status of my order is... still waiting for my etickets to become available.

I recently bought tickets from viagogo and have the strong feeling that I got scammed. The payment on paypal is pending currently but still authorized. I wanted to buy tickets for the dortmund-leipzig game next saturday at 6:30 pm, but on viagogo the tickets for this event were set for 3:30 pm, so the time of the event was wrong. Unfortunately, I realized this too late and didn't double check it before purchasing. Since the time of the event is wrong, I think they probably just sold fake tickets and that the whole thing is a big scam and I would like to cancel this payment asap.

The Google spokesperson says Viagogo is now "making clear that tickets subject to resale restrictions may not provide access to the event, ceasing advertising tickets for resale where resale is legitimately prohibited, and ceasing claiming that tickets are valid when organisers and event promoters find them invalid".
