By buying tickets in-person, at the box office, you can avoid paying the ticketing fees. If you are buying just two tickets, then the fees are not going to be that high and it may be worth paying for the convenience of buying online (or over the phone). But for three tickets or more, then buying tickets in-person at the box office is going to be the right way to go.
Buyers will physically have to go to the box office to buy the tickets. The box office will not hold the tickets until buyers get there and pay for them.
There is a business opportunity for someone to buy tickets for others, which especially makes sense when it is a large amount of tickets and the savings will be significant.
Each Broadway theatre has its own box office. Buyers can purchase a ticket in advance and in person for the Broadway show currently playing. Buyers can also purchase a ticket for a show that has not yet opened. All purchases can happen during its normal box office business hours.
Buying Broadway tickets directly at the theatre box office is advantageous because then you don't have to pay any of the handling or convenience charges that Ticketmaster and Telecharge, or another ticket vendor will add to your Broadway tickets bill if you buy online or over the phone.
Buying In person also allows you access to tickets that have not be advertised in those other mediums. There is a reason why Broadway ticket brokers only buy tickets this way. Another advantage of buying tickets directly at the box office is that you will have a physical ticket in hand, so no need to pay for shipping.
The downside to buying tickets in-person means that you have to actually get to the theatre to complete the transaction, which is difficult for people who live outside the theatre district and next to impossible for out-of-towners.
Ticketmaster sells about 40% of all Broadway tickets, and is the well-known ticketing giant that people use all over the world for concerts and sporting events. In New York City, Broadway tickets are one of Ticketmaster's most important products.

Will Call tickets may be picked up on the day of the event at the Box Office only. The Box Office is open two (2) hours prior to the event. Guests must present the credit card used to place the order and a valid photo I.D. Will Call drop-off is not available for all events.
Golden 1 Center and Ticketmaster are the only authorized sellers of tickets. Golden 1 Center is not responsible for tickets purchased anywhere other than Ticketmaster or through our Box Office and will not honor, exchange, or refund counterfeit, duplicate, or invalid tickets.
Please note: Tickets are not available to purchase at the arena box office on the first day of the general public on sale for non-Wild events (i.e., concerts, family shows). During this time, tickets may be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com. Any remaining tickets following the first day of the general public ticket sales will be available for purchase at the box office on the next business day the box office is open.
Pro tip for faster mobile entry: Add your tickets to your phone's "wallet" and have a fully charged battery. Log on to your Ticketmaster account and add the mobile tickets to your Apple Wallet/Google Wallet app. This bypasses the need for Wi-Fi or cellular data at the gates.
Gift cards are available for purchase online or in person at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office. Gift cards may be used to purchase tickets in person at the box office, at most concession stands in the arena, and for merchandise in the Hockey Lodge.
The only authorized ticket sales agents for Xcel Energy Center events are the Xcel Energy Center Box Office, Xcel Energy Center Sales Department and Ticketmaster. Tickets purchased from any other source may not be valid. Xcel Energy Center is not able to honor, replace or refund invalid tickets. If you purchase tickets from an unauthorized agent in the secondary market (scalper, ticket broker, eBay, Craigslist, StubHub, etc.), you risk purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets.

The American Airlines Center Box Office is located on the Northeast corner of the venue directly across from The Lexus Garage. Complimentary parking is available in the The Lexus Garage while you purchase tickets. For more information about events at American Airlines Center call 214-665-4797.
Tickets for non-Mavs or Stars games will NOT be available for purchase at the American Airlines Center Box Office on the first day of ticket sales. Remaining available tickets for any non-Mavs or Stars game will be available for purchase at the American Airlines Center Box Office on the next business day that the box office is open.
Pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at the Will Call windows located at the American Airlines Center Box Office. Customers must present a valid photo ID and the credit card used to purchase in order to collect the tickets. Once the Box Office is closed, remaining Will Call tickets can be picked up at the North entrance.
The pick-up window is for Ticketmaster purchases, team, and internal reservations marked for will call. The pick-up window opens two hours prior to any event. Will Call tickets are available on the day of event only. Patrons picking up tickets will have to provide photo ID and the credit card used in the purchase to obtain the reservation. Tickets are not allowed to be left at the pick-up window from external sources.

Will Call Procedures
Will call is conveniently located on the north west corner of the arena. To pick up tickets, photo identification and the credit card used in the original ticket purchase are required. Tickets will only be released to the individual named on the original order. Alternate pick ups will only be allowed if arrangements are made through the office of the original point of purchase prior to the day of the show. Outside will call will not be accepted at the box office. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster can be picked up from the Box Office during normal box office hours, no earlier than one week before the show. Please provide the Ticketmaster confirmation number along with photo ID and the credit card used in the original Ticketmaster transaction. A signature will be required to receive the tickets. Accessible/Disabled seating is available on all levels of the arena. Accessible seating and parking are available through tmobilearena.com, axs.com, and the arena box office. When ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate that you require accessible seating so we can properly seat you.
Tickets may be purchased directly at the Box Office. T-Mobile Arena accepts the following methods of payment: American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Discover. When purchasing tickets with a credit card, you must show current, valid photo identification to complete the transaction.
T-Mobile Arena utilizes mobile delivery of tickets. Will Call services may be available for select events. Tickets arranged for Will Call may only be picked up by the account holder whose name is on the account. A current, valid government-issued ID and credit card used to purchase tickets are required for pick-up.
COVID Refunds
Any customers who have purchased tickets from the Alamodome Box Office for the following cancelled events; Selena XXV, Kenny Chesney or Luke Bryant , have until 4pm on Monday August 8th, 2022 to return their tickets for a refund. The refund window for tickets purchased via ticketmaster.com has already closed.
General Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final, there are no refunds or exchanges on any tickets for a event. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, please contact the original point of purchase for a refund. For ticket purchases made directly at the Alamodome Box Office, you may request a refund by returning your ticket to the Alamodome Box Office within 90 days from the date the event was cancelled. Any requests received after the 90 day period or without the issued ticket will be denied.
