How to make a Project by using Iron-On Vinyl?

Here is the complete process given to create a project using iron-on vinyl:

  1. The first step is to create a design for your project, to do so, open cricut design space and create your design.

  2. Choose the Go button that is shown on the screen.

  3. As you clicked the button, you can the preview the details associated with your project like - material size, option for the required copies, a tick box for mirror image(make sure to click on the tick box).

  4. Click on the Go button again.

  5. Choose the base material, there are different ways to select the base materials, depends upon the type of cricut machine you're using.

  6. Load the Cricut Iron-On into the cutting machine properly with the help of cutting mat.

  7. Press the up-down arrow button on the machine to fix and secure the mat.

  8. Now press the Cricut button to begin the process.

  9. The next step is to weed your design after it has been printed, by using weeding tools.

  10. Now place your design onto the base material exactly at the place where you want to adhere it.

  11. Then place the iron-on protective sheet onto the design, it'll distribute the heat evenly and protect the both(base material and vinyl) from the heat.

  12. Now use cricut easy press or heat press to transfer the vinyl onto the material.

  13. Now let the vinyl to cool down after the above process.
