Iris Brickfield's sophomore EP, released in late 2022 is where they began to experiment with their sound. It's title track 'Cherries' is a nostalgia-inducing, catchy synthpop tune with indie drums and a driven guitar line, while 'The Cry' takes influence from prog-rock and 'Wait (For the Moon)' is low-key with 'bags of atmosphere', (The Crack, Jan 2023). Their sold out EP launch at the Cumberland Arms was a great success with attendees from all over the country.

A collection of 4 songs, written through 2020-2021 during our final year of university, 'Hold On My Lovers' is a concept album of sorts, taking a backwards journey through the past 3 years of our lives. Each track tells its own story, from the joys of young adulthood to the pain of missing home and those you love. 'Lavender House', the single from the EP was played on radiostations nationwide including Spark Sunderland, Jorvik Radio (York), Windrush Radio (Oxfordshire) and Radio Northumberland.
