The last update for the CD 70 Navi was released in 2014/2015 by HERE, a company that provides digital mapping and location services. The update covered millions of square kilometers and many points of interest in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. The update also added or amended more than 31,730 roundabouts, 535,496 street names, 24,279 one way streets and 113,117 turn restrictions.
The update was sold as a CD pack (wallet) that contained one CD-ROM with the map data. The CD pack had the product number T1000-22399 and the price of 89.00. The update was compatible with the following Opel models with the EHU CD70 navigation system: Astra Coupe (2005-2011), Combo (2004-2011), Corsa (2004-2006), Meriva (2004-2011), Signum (2004-2008), Tigra Twintop (2004-2009), Vivaro (2006-2010), Vectra (2004-2008) and Zafira (2004-2011).
The update was the final map release for the CD 70 Navi system. It remained available while supplies lasted. Customers who wanted to update their navigation system could order the CD pack online from the HERE website or from authorized Opel dealers. Customers who ordered online had to pay an additional 11.50 for standard shipping. Customers who ordered from dealers had to check the availability and price with them.
The update was easy to install and use. Customers only had to insert the CD-ROM into the navigation system and follow the instructions on the screen. The update took about 15 minutes to complete. After that, customers could enjoy the latest map data and features on their CD 70 Navi system.
