Irina Wang

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Prof. Yao Xie in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology. 

I obtained my PhD in the Operations Research and Financial Engineering (ORFE) department at Princeton University, advised by Prof. Bartolomeo Stellato. I completed my Undergraduate degree at Cornell University.

My research focus is on developing data-driven computational tools for optimization under uncertainty, with a primary interest in robust optimization, machine learning, stochastic multi-level optimization, and decision-focused learning.

Starting 2027, I will be an Assistant Professor of Operations Research and Statistics at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
